Tiny Dancer

The Ben & Jerry's near our house does a 3-scoops-for-3-dollars deal before 5pm on weekdays, so one day when dad got home from work early, we went on a walk to check it out. Luke didn't get his own whole scoop, but he did get a few tastes.

Watching mom & dad like a hawk. "Where's mine??"

I swear I don't know why his face looks orange
around his mouth whenever the camera uses a flash.

Saw the camera. "More please!"

In unrelated news, Luke has discovered how to turn on the radio. He dances to it and, well, it's pretty stinking cute.

He gets mad when he turns it on and there's commercials on the radio. He yells at the stereo and then comes and gets me to fix it.

Luke's Girlfriend

Maybe Gloria doesn't think it's official, but Luke sure does. He is besotted with beautiful miss Gloria. She's older and wiser and she can WALK (holy cow!). Here they are at Home Depot (already picking out housewares??).

They got to go on a little chariot ride to the park the other day. There were a couple of moments of palm-to-face over the froggy toy or something, but in general it was quite the romantic afternoon.

Ready to roll! I think Gloria's trying to shoo off the paparazzi.

Swingin'. They're MARRIED! (remember that from elementary school?)

Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of their darling antics on the slide/playground/etc., because I couldn't chase two kids and take pictures at the same time. Much easier to manage a camera when they're both immobile.

Mom's view from above. I love the look on Luke's face.

We stopped at the dog park on the way home for the kiddos to watch
the doggies. (Don't they look like they're at the drive-in?)

Such sweeties!

I don't have the camera card with me right now, but I will have to upload pictures of their trip to the zoo soon!

Bathtime!

I can't stop taking photos of this kid in the bath. He's just got such a darling pot belly.

First bubble bath!

What do bubbles taste like?

Like soap...ew...

He thought face bubbles were hilarious.

Still has some dinner on his face...

Different day, new hairdo.

Lights!

I love this picture so much.

Bonus video: In which Luke discovers his tongue and tries to eat the bubbles off of an empty shampoo bottle. (I have to sneak up on him with the camera because he wants to grab it & throw it in the bath otherwise.)
