Playdates

So I'm getting a little backlogged here--I still have a bunch of older stuff to post, but these are so cute I had to get them up.

Friday was a big, busy day for little Luke. In the morning, he and Savannah got to go hang out at Olive Garden and Red Butte Gardens with their moms.

Savannah was squinty in the sun, not crabby. She was a doll!
Luke got to ride in his black carrier. He likes it, apparently--he slept the ENTIRE time. It was really easy to keep him warm enough that way. (It was SO cold, despite being the second-to-last day of April. It snowed the night before!)

Savannah got to ride in the stroller for most of the day so she wouldn't get run over by the crazy first graders running around. Here, she found a book she recognized in the learning center (we ducked in for a few minutes to warm up).
Tag-teaming it with the kiddos. Luke got to ride with Allie for a while.  (We wondered how many people we could confuse with this photo...mom swap!)

As if that wasn't enough fun for one day, Luke and Simon had a playdate on Friday night, too!

In the car on the way to Simon's house, thinking about all the fun things they're going to do together.  (His white-noise giraffe is in the foreground. Super handy for long car trips.)

Look at these handsome devils in blue!

Hangin' out with Simon's grandma, Lisa, and watching Simon like a hawk.

Simon watched Luke right back.

Already plotting big pranks, probably!

They were both mesmerized by each other. It seemed like they kept trying to talk. Poor babies.

We tried to see if they would like some tummy time together, since they'd both be at the same eye level...

...but it quickly dissolved into a giant-head-bobbing session with many squawks of frustration.

Simon loves to hang by his tummy.

...Luke, not so much. (How funny is it that both boys are in blue & both moms are in pink?)

Scott says "playdate" isn't very manly for our little boys, but "mandate" doesn't have quite the same effect. I guess we'll say they...collaborated on feats of awesomeness.

Best buds forever!

Bonus video time!
